Pinks 0 Posted March 30, 2007 I''ve just come back from holiday and wondered if anyone knows what has happened to the proposed Norwich Union debt write off for our poorer neighbours down the road.Has it been shelved following the outcry from city fans and NU employees or is it still happening?Oh, by the way I went to Jamaica and it was very nice thank you. First Jedi 0 Posted March 30, 2007 The debt was NEVER being written off - the loan was simply being securitised to another loan company, where the loan would still stand. This was nothing but bad news for Ipswich since it impled that they were such a massive risk that NU thought they''d cut their loses and pass the risk on to some other loan company who were willing to take on that risk for a bargin price. This whole story was spin and nonsense.
