Not wishing to sound unduly positive but for those who look want on the bright side there are actually some things to be happier about going into the new year (some would be more happy to accentuate the negatives so these are in brackets): we are actually on a run of sorts - 3 unbeaten (though one win in 6) with 2 clean sheets (against poor sides), we have a nearly fully fit squad (though still too thin in number)and have managed to settle on a striking partnership and formation which might just work well (though Earnie will probably leave), and we are still well within striking distance of being in the shake-up at the end of the season (though at either end of the table!).
