Ernie 0 Posted November 15, 2006 I have been really impressed with Dublins'' recent contribution to the team.I think the club should offer him a role next year as a coach with either the first or youth team. Shackell in particular seems to be benefitting from his experience. Also he seems to be on the same wavelength as Grant, which has got to be a good thing. He could also still be used as an emergency defender or striker.Would be interested to hear what everyone else thinks. Herb 0 Posted November 15, 2006 Well, we don''t know if he''s any good as a coach, but he seems to tick all the boxes to potentially be one.He always seemed quite an old head on young shoulders back in the day and his performances for us at the back show how well he reads the game.To my mind he is an ideal role model for any young footballer, if he has the ability and desire to coach them too it would be a huge plus for us. ZLF 335 Posted November 16, 2006 Possibly - I guess it depends on whether grant feels there is a need for a new face to replace one of the inherited coaches... - and if so should it go to someone with more experience.
