For God's Sake....

If every person gave their manager as much time in business to succeed as some on this board have given Peter Grant there would be no succesful companies. Anywhere. In any industry. OK, so football is not like any industry and supporters are not simply another load of shareholders.

Debating and critiquing what went wrong is fine. Saying that it was crap is fine. Suggesting what we can do better is fine. But - in my humble opinion - suggesting that someone who came through the door a couple of weeks ago should be on his way before he''s hardly drawn breath is utterly counter-productive.

It''s not just about giving the manegr a chance, but giving all those who he is trying to influence - most notably the players - a chance to find their fee with him at the helm.

PLEASE. Constructive criticism is OK. Nonsensical stuff questioning PG''s abilities at the moment is daft.

Those who are calling for Delia''s head and PG to be on his way. Get a life and give them a chance.

Totally agree Kevin.  Knee-jerk reactions acheive nothing.  Peter Grant has a 3.5 year contract, the fans should allow him at least 18 months before talking about if he should go or not, calling for his head after 1 bad game, immediately after 2 wins against the top teams in the league, is absolutely ridiculous.

A few more decent games under our belt and we can write Stoke off as a brave experiment with a depleted squad and a bad day at the office.  At least I hope we can.  In the mean time, as Saint Kev says, get behind your team !

Our all time goalkeeping god has spoken.

And you can''t argue with his sentiments - ignore at your peril.

Amazing (but not surprising given the individual) his commitment to the Club is still full on after all the years.

Hey Kev, remember that house you had at Hevingham. I used to go past it on the bus and wipe the steam off the window to see ''Kevin Keelan''s house.'' By modern standards it is pretty non-descript and not something the modern footballer would expect to live in.

Crooky had a modest home on Marsham Street too and I remember a programme article on Phil Boyer doing his house up.

How times have changed.
