Job security

Recommended Posts

So Ken Brown thinks there is no job security for football managers. Well who is he kidding? I think that a 12 month rolling contract on a salary of over £300,000 a year plus bonus''s is more than adequet security especially as if they do their job half decently they are unlikely to be sacked. I certainly am not going to feel sorry for Worthington if he has to leave his comfort zone at Carrow. He will certainly be able to pay off his mortgage!!

Personally, I think he is on at the very least £500,000 a year.  For that, I would sit in the dug out for a couple of games and take a bit of stick.

That is the whole reason behind this statement - Delia won''t want to pay up a year''s money so they try and get him to resign.  But for a couple of uncomfortable weeks, Worthy will hang on for his pay off - and I don''t blame him.

I doubt the next manager will be on a rolling contract.
