I complained following our game against chelsea in the premier year after i thought their commentators were in favour of chelsea, citing five diffrent times (with the time on the screen) that there were comments that were very much pro-chelsea beating little norwich. Last season during the Ipswich game he told viewers that Andy Hughes was a great favourite with Norwich fans because of his never say die attitude.This at the time when there were several threads on this board discussing whether Hughes was the worst player ever to appear for the Club.Whatever you thought of Hughes, Birtles was displaying his ignorance.Guess the lesson here is not to believe what they say about other clubs because that is probably as accurate as this pile!!
