Couldn''t help but compare our situation to Readings, with the recent comments from their Chairman and Manager. Its just not that easy to buy quality footballers, so maybe we should be more patient with Worthington, and not expect him to buy any player who is available, regardless of ability.

Quote ... But Madejski warned the fans not to expect any superstar new signings.

He said: "As the manager has said, we will have to wait until the big six have had their feast and see what is left. It is pretty sad really, waiting for the crumbs off the rich man''s table."

Maybe they''re just not ambition enough, the ''little Reading'' syndrome. They should be signing world cup players, just like Sheff Utd, Watford etc.

What? Oh. Maybe our club isn''t so badly run after all.

Controversial.

And I thought Reading made over 550,000 pounds from some muppets for Andy Hughes and replaced him with Glenn Little for 100,000 pounds.  Obviously they have some skill in the transfer market.

Just like we made £1.5m from some muppets for Damien Francis and bought the "new Damien Francis" (well, he seems to be just as lazy) for £500k!
