He wanted to sell me an extra one with some inducements for the extra only. I pointed out I already had 2. The company claims £3.62 for the call regardless of outcome. Another way of putting this is that we've paid a sales professional £3,620 per 1000 outbound calls, which doesn't seem particularly expensive. You could perhaps frame this as concern that it might not be legitimate and that some bad actors may have obtained a database through nefarious means. Was just pointing out that if somebody offered an outsourcing service for this sort of thing, then £3,620 per 1000 calls doesn't sound at all unreasonable, especially if it is actually £3.62 per successful connect.
