S_81 1,101 Posted January 5 Notts County boss has joined Swansea. Be interesting to see what he does with the step up. He’s done great things for County and was one on the list of someone up and coming and lower cost who we could have turned to had we got our act in gear re Wagner. That doesn't always work out well though does it, I can remember when everybody was raving about the Cowley brothers and they have quickly found themselves back in League Two. Google Bot 3,927 Posted January 5 14 wins in 32 matches at League Two level vs Wagner's 12 wins in 29 at Championship, it would be a pretty brave decision to dismiss Wagner to bring him in. I get that County are punching, and we're underperforming. But also, we've been littered with injuries first half of this season too. It will be interesting to see how he does though, as he knows Swansea relatively well as came through as assistant there and carries similar ideologies to Russ Martin. I think we've developed a fear of playing that way because of the longer term plan of wanting to achieve prem league survival though. Question is, should we still be aiming to run, or should we be concentrating on walking again?

It’s a big jump between league two and championship, for sure. But we shall see if he’s capable of it
