Stoke are looking good recently.

Not many Norwich fans had the appetite for Russell Martin as Norwich manager, but in hindsight that is probably the route we should have gone down, he at least attempts to play progressive football and doesn't seem to have the appetite to sign old players on short term deals.

The finances are different between the two clubs. They have another year of parachute payment, we don't. There is no evidence either that we tried to appoint Martin as our manager.

There is evidence however that we have a number of whiners on here who seem to expect the club to be massively successful at all times. May I suggest they take a look at other ex PL clubs in the Championship.

I didn't imply anywhere that we had?

I just recall that after the Dean Smith sacking the fans didn't like the idea of Russell Martin when discussing potential replacements.

I can't want us to lose because you just can't. But if we do lose, I hope it's heavily and the crowd turn, because maybe that will finally push the club into doing what is going to happen anyway.

Having said that, would the club care if the crowd turns? Delia is still sitting there like Miss Haversham with her wedding cake, hoping that Stuart will return.
