......and Smith must score. 1,360 Posted April 30, 2022 It’s 71 years since Everton were last relegated from the top flight so it’s long overdue. They should have gone down in the 1993/4 season when Mike Walker was in charge. They had to win their last match at home against Wimbledon. 2-0 down at HT they won 3-2 with the Dons goalie Hans Segers going down like a sack of spuds as Graham Stuart’s soft match winning shot went under him. If ever there was a case for a match fixing investigation this was it but nothing came of it. Oh, and don’t forget 1985 when they were on the beach in that last day 4-1 hammering at Coventry that sent us down. it would be quite amusing seeing them the equals of Wigan, Rotherham, etc. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
