Doomcaster 10 Posted October 20, 2021 That was always the formation/s we should have started within the PREM this season I said that before this season started - but 100% expected Farke to have learnt his lessons from 2 seasons ago - sadly not Many of the new signings / loans do not fit within Farkes new (at last) formation/s to gain Prem points. Lack of planning for the Prem within the 1st 6 matches appears to be the problem from Farke & Webber Arrons & Ginoulis are probably top quality wing backs - but no where near Full Backs within the Prem, with their lack of height and strength Farke made a huge formation mistake/s within the first 6 matches with a basic poor formation to defend Webber did not buy or loan the right players we needed to compete in the Prem - based on Farkes new 352 - 532 - 343 formation to gain even 1 prem point per match NCFC needed to buy 2 x quality CB's (Zimmerman is Champ level No4 CB at best) + 2 x Quality Defensive mids + 1 AML (not 2) 1 AMR, & a Striker who can score easy goals 2 Clean sheets is at last a good place for Farke in the Prem, & then consider gaining points on a more regular basis if we don't give away 2 or 3 or 4 or 5 goals per match. Defense first, and then add a bit of attacking flair as per the matches available. Now Farke needs to make his pretty poor recruitment policy, based on the obvious needed defensive formations to work within the Prem Loans - sadly Farke & Webber made a big errors (apart from Kabak) Last note - sell Cantwell for whatever price we can get .... Does it really matter what formation we play go into a top flight season with Pukki Sargent and Idah as your strikers and you are as good as relegated . Nuff Said 5,153 Posted October 20, 2021 I can’t believe this endless discussion of formations hasn’t flushed Bill out of the woodwork to tell everyone they are idiots because players move around.

He's here... Watching... Waiting. One day he will spring out at us, post a picture of table football, engage someone in a completely circular discussion where logic and consistency go to die (probably me), call everyone else a liar/idiot and ride off into the sunset knowing he has made this forum a better place.
