One of the women says how reassuring it is to have an alarm and the other one tells her partner that they should get one. Throughout the advert the men respectfully do not interrupt their partners and agree (by nodding) with the conclusion that getting an alarm is a good idea. At no stage do the men attempt to mansplain about how alarms work and neither of them attempt to make it their idea that they should get an alarm.
