Just happened across their team playing in the 4th div tonight . And guess what ? It’s basically the Binners team from the last few years ! 
Currently beating Rochdale 1.0 . At last , Cap’n Fistpump et al have found their level 😂🤣

(PS I wonder if Fistpump has insisted on having stars on their shirts ?🤔)

Stop press . Rochdale bag an equaliser and Col U slip to mid table . The old Binners will feel nicely at home .

The "new binners" don't seem to be doing much better under Captain Cook, despite being a self-perceived "millionaire" club. The big boys of the league.

Today is a crunch home tie against the mighty Wimbledon F.C.

Fail to get a win from this fixture and they would seem to be in a dog fight in the depths of L. 1, rather than the promotion candidates they all expected to be.

Cook talks a good game, but can't seem to win one.

In the meantime, the debt to that US Pension fund rises.

Just checked out Colchester's squad, and they have six players that came directly from Ipswich, plus at least a couple of others that have played there in the past, so that's more than a third of their squad. At least they've found their level, I guess.
