It was a clear foul, late and quite reckless so for me it's a definite foul and yellow. But to be a red, there must be no attempt to play the ball and a denial of a clear goalscoring opportunity. This was neither; Shea was only a split second from getting the ball and probably would've won it against a slower player, and Placheta was heading away from goal into a near impossible goalscoring position.
