royalwave 0 Posted January 30, 2006 Hello there Norwich fans,Im really looking forward to tomorrow nights game and am hoping for 3 more points on the way to our first dalliance in the Premiership.I was just wondering whether Andy Hughes will be playing tomorrow night, I heard he had a face injuryand may miss out. It''ll be good to see him back at the Mad Stad and although we certainly arent missing him by any stretch of the imagination im sure he''ll get a good cheer from the Reading faithful. Out of interest, other than running his arse off, has he played any decent games for you lot yet?
Citizen Journalist Foghorn 0 Posted January 30, 2006 He scored a good goal for us against Luton I think or was it burnley?? What did you get for the 550,000 we paid you for him??
royalwave 0 Posted January 30, 2006 Well, with the money we got for AH we were able to buy Kevin Doyle, Brynnar Gunnarsson and Shane Long, so thanks for that. Last year Hughes played a number of different positions, never really excelling in any but doing a tidy enough job, especially at left back. This year we''ve got specialised players in every position and look a lot stronger for it. Where abouts are you playing him out of interest? Also, how many are you bringing down for tomorrows game then?
royalwave 0 Posted January 30, 2006 With the money we got for Hughes we bought Kevin Doyle (£78,000) Shane Long (Nominal) and Brynnar Gunnarsson (£250,000) and we''ve still got a bit of change that we can spend on champagne (fingers crossed) at the end of the season. What position is Hughes playing in with Norwich. He played practically everywhere for Reading running his heart out but never really excelling anywhere. Some of his best games for us were playing left back strangely enough. How many Norwich fans will travel to teh game tomorrow night?

I would like to see Jarret, Hughes and Spillane.

MadDan 0 Posted January 30, 2006 Any chance of you sorting out your transport system Mr Wave? Got stuck in traffic on a bus from the station, then had to queue for ages to get a ticket, finally got in and found we were already two up.Chaos getting back as wel.Very intimidating as well with all that silence from your fans. Rather like Poorman Road where all the biners sit glum faced barely making any noise bar the unwrapping of sweets and the unscrewing of flasks.Good stadium otherwise.
