Making Plans 957 Posted February 17, 2020 I was sat on the cinder track that went round the pitch somwhere in that first picture. All the kids got moved there so they could see. I was 10 at the time and my father was somewhere in the Barclay stand. keelansgrandad 6,680 Posted February 17, 2020 I'm afraid that for some of us, this kind of thing is going to happen more regularly. Its difficult to explain to younger people tha tthese people were stars in our era, and no matter that modern day players may be better, it doesn't diminish the fact that these chaps were stars of that era.
