First Wazzock 1,013 Posted January 1, 2020 Earlier on we had a penalty retaken because of encroachment - defender cleared the ball. The same should apply when the ball goes in and the attacking team have players encroach - Just watch the penalty West Ham had to make the score 3-0. Player(s) clearly in the box - Retaken? No. The whole system is corrupt, there is no uniformity in decision making. The whole thing is a complete shambles, and if it's allowed to continue will be the ruination of football. Cantiaci Canary 610 Posted January 1, 2020 (edited) I may be wrong but I think we were only penalised against Arsenal because Aarons encroached AND THEN went on to clear Krul's save. They only penalise for encroachment if the player encroaching plays the ball after the goalkeeper saves it or it hits the post. Watch this video from 2.24 onwards.
