KiwiScot 1,443 Posted April 16, 2019 Went to a different dentist than the one I normally go to for over 20 years and it was a nightmare. I Just want other peoples opinion. A normal checkup where the dentist is basically pulling into my gums with the hook thing while removing plague resulting in pain/discomfort and me spitting out blood. My normal dentist never causes me any pain and is always removing plague when I visit, but this one was torture. No delicate touch just quick touches and also using some kind of jet wash technique in with the hook so my mouth was full of water spurting out while my gums are being hooked. Herman 9,765 Posted April 17, 2019 Normally if your gums are bleeding you have big problems and a course of Corsodyl (or worse) would be on the cards.
