Young_Riles 0 Posted November 24, 2005 don''t wanna snitch, but the way we have been playing lately, i wassurprised to see mcveigh, greeno, doherty, hughes, gallacher and acouple of others up the uni bar last night, may have been there foralkaline trio, but one has to doubt it... deano and wright were alsothere, but left pretty early. ive spoken to mcveigh before up there, and he says they go there so they dont get recognised (most people atuea dont actually come from norwich...). not that i think its bad, itmust be a bit like living in a goldfish bowl round here, but i figurethey should earn their drinks! also, some bad dress sense there forguys who earn thousands a week! trinny and susannah for the norwichsquad?! I think they shouldn''t - they need to be able to mix with the rest of us, and get a taste of how we feel about the situation. And the team-bonding thing is valid as well. And, remembering how it was 7 or 8 years back, they''re generally not playing badly. There have been horrible games of course, like Wolves, but the main problem is that they haven''t matched our perception of what the Club is now, which we see as bigger in every sense than it 3 years ago or so. Young_Riles 0 Posted November 24, 2005 yeh, like i said, i dont really have a problem with it, other than thefact that there seemed to be a few too many stellas involved! it wasgood to see them enjoying each others company, but deano looked boredas hell... i do wonder whether nige knew about it though- at least thesquads too small for him to drop any of them!
