CANARYKING 708 Posted July 25, 2018 See they have just signed a Spanish full back so they can probably field a team of Portuguese and Spanish players, does the Premier League have any rules ? Also poor old John Ruddy is back on the bench again.
Bethnal Yellow and Green 2,424 Posted July 25, 2018 Premier League rules are different to the Football League. They have no requirements about match-day squads, but clubs are restricted to a squad of 25 players, a maximum of 17 of them are allowed to be non-home grown. If the club doesn’t have 8 home grown players they have a smaller squad. Players under 21 don’t have to be registered so a club can have as many of them as they like, regardless of home-grown status.
