mr footy 36 Posted December 2, 2017 Even this might not be achieved with the current set up.The problem is that our best team can stay in this division but our squad is not. It''s wishful thinking that we will be able to play them all season without injurys or suspensions.loans seem our best way forward in Jan until then we need other teams to play badly. Yorkshire Canary 118 Posted December 2, 2017 This squad even with all the changes with a more dynamic and experienced manager would be top half no problem. When we have sold the crown jewels on the summer that may be more of a problem. I note with a smile that cardiffs newer signings included players from Rotherham and Rochdale who have already contributed 10 goals between them this season. We need experience of championship and lower leagues not this doomed experiment
AJ 1,358 Posted December 2, 2017 It all comes down to money sadly. Webber has said multiple times that he''s proud of what they did in the summer given the resources they had. Sadly that says it all. On paper we have a pretty good roster of talented individuals, the problem is as a team is just doesn''t work. Defensively weak and tactically naive going forward. If you can''t defend and don''t score goals it is never going to get you in contention for promotion.
