nutty nigel 7,536 Posted April 29, 2017
Nutty, I''m not sure how this all works but am interested in taking part next season , would appreciate it if you could PM me with what to do please? Many thanks
I''d rather keep this for all to see if that''s ok Baldy. It''s not that easy to explain really because, like anything that runsfor a long time, the original idea has grown. But I''ll try... RAYS FUNDS · PUPS is an online community of Norwich fans based all over UK / Abroad on the Pink Un message board. · Ray was my good friend Ray Ducker who sadly passed away in 2009. We used to run this together. He has his own section on the Pink Un dedicated to his posts which were a joy. · Called PUPs because we are the Pink Un Pickers who try and select a winning line of 6 correct results each week where the winnings go to the CSF and specifically focused on the Downes Syndrome football team. · So each season the PUPs send a tenner each to cover 40 weeks of stake money. · We also have an anonymous benefactor who finances a tenner each week on the Norwich game. Again all winnings go to the CSF. · Pink Un message board posters also make other donations / pledges where the money goes straight into the presentation pot. This weekend in February is a good snapshot of how it all works. On theFriday I was sent £50 from a Pink Un poster who had sold 2 tickets that werenot being used on condition the money went into our presentation pot. Then theweek’s six results all won adding £60 to the presentation pot. After theSaturday''s match a Pink Un poster who was over from Romania came and found meand handed me £20 for the presentation pot. And on the Sunday another Pink Unposter sent me £15 from his mid-season pledge. So that weekend’s events added£145 to the presentation pot. We presented £2000 last month and already have£164 towards the next presentation. Hope that makes some sort of sense.

wooster 134 Posted May 8, 2017

OK Nutty, it''s time for a Christmas/New Year/Feb type of bet. After 21 games my pre-season forecast was for 35 points, so 33 is thereabouts, despite the early season over-achievement (see above). In the next 10 games I forecast (pre season again) 14 points being 8 draws and two wins (Huddersfield & Wigan). So I''ll give £5 for every point above 14.Let''s hope it proves to be an expensive bet.
Nutty,We got 17 points over the 10 games against my forecast of 14, so I''ve sent you £15.In passing, only 4 points in the first five games and 13 points in the last five - the latter sounds like promising form for the run-in.I''ll do a similar bet for the last 10 games, where my pre-season prediction was 16 points.
Nutty,My abacus tells me we got 17 points so I owe you a fiver. I predicted a 4-1 win for the QPR game and have added a bit to the fiver as a penalty for ever doubting our defence. It''s in the ether on its way to you as I type.
