Champions wrote the following post at 21/05/2014 11:18 PM: Put it this way, if someone is good enough for Celtic, they are more than good enough for Norwich. ----------------------------------------------------------------- Do you honestly believe this or have you just not switched on your brain. There''s one bl00dy team in the SPL thats guaranteed to win it every year. Celtic are the equivalent to a very good championship side, the rest are a poor league one standard, I feel sorry for people who have to watch it, including celtic fans, it must be incredibly boring....thats probably why theres their fans now deciding to support us
Celtic are much better than any Championship team. Our Champions League results show this. I know arrogance comes naturally to you Englishmen, but come on! Surely you can''t be that arrogant?
 2.
I think its his lack off class as a manager that I cringe at the most tbh, its pretty embarrassing
His level of class didn''t seem to bother your best player when he was whoring himself to us a weeks ago.
 3.
Gordon Strachan had great success at Celtic then went to Middlesbrough and....lead Middlesbrough to 20th place before leaving by mutual consent. Tony Mowbray went from Celtic to ironically Middlesborough and failed to make the playoffs...twice, before a run of 2 wins in twelve games lead to him leaving by mutual consent. Yes the recent past has shown us that what''s good enough for Celtic is good enough for the Championship...oh wait?!!
Mowbray was Celtic''s worst ever manager and was sacked in his first season at the club. Strachan wasn''t liked by the majority of Celtic fans because of his style and choice of player.
 4.
why are you talking about shouting at refs? The issue I have with him is his whole self, not just because he has a go at everyone who isn''t part of Celtic FC....he''s just a pr1ck...I thought everyone knew that?
Still waiting. Why is he a prick? Come on, explain.
 5.
Champions wrote the following post at 21/05/2014 11:10 PM: Neil Lennon. Why would you choose anyone else on that list? --------------------------------------------------------------------- why would you choose the biggest pr1ck on the list?
Why is he a "prick"? It''ll be the usual "but...but... he shouts at refs!" which manager doesn''t? And if you actually seen some of the decisions that season, you would have understood his anger. I''ll give an example of one: Hooper was clearly tripped by the opposition keeper. A penalty was rightfully awarded. However, the referee went to his linesman and a free kick was given to the opposition keeper. It was later established that the referee told the linesmen he knew it was a penalty but wasn''t going to give it.
 6.
Proven champions league manager? ? You''re having a laugh, my mum could manage Celtic and win the SPL. You can keep him as far as I''m concerned.
"Oi Oi! See that facking Scotch cloob Celtic got as far as United, Arsenal and Chelsea." "Facking ''ell we betta sweep this woon oonder the carpet".
 7.

Celtic had a pretty good crack at the Champion''s League to be fair.
Exactly. As good a crack as any English side had that year. It happened. Neil Lennon took a side on a shoe string budget to the Last 16. It was no fluke, we got some quality results that year.
That was my original point, the fact that those few European games each year are Neil Lennon''s only real challenge as Celtic manager. The rest of his season is a stroll in the park. It''s not about whether Celtic are bigger than Norwich or whether the Championship is better than the SPL, it''s about Lennon testing his ability over a whole season, and quite honestly he''s not testing himself managing in the SPL, is he?
He has to deal with the pressure of being expected to win every game. Every team ups their game when they play Celtic in the SPL. It is a cup final to them. I''m not sure what he has to prove? If I supported Norwich I''d be absolutely ecstatic at the prospect of Neil Lennon becoming my clubs manager. Put it this way, if someone is good enough for Celtic, they are more than good enough for Norwich.
 8. Neil Lennon. Why would you choose anyone else on that list? This is a man that walked out in front of 40,000 Rangers fans and stood with his hands cupping his ears - just days after bombs, bullets and death threats had been posted to Lennon''s and Celtic players family homes. A man that lead inferior players to within points of topping a group consisting of Barcelona, Benfica and Spartak Moscow. I''ve watched him on the touchline, you won''t find a more passionate man in football. It''d be a pleasure to play under Neil Lennon.
 9. Just yesterday Lennon said he was worried about teams raiding Celtic this summer (http://www.eveningtimes.co.uk/celtic/lennon-fear-over-summer-raids-on-celtic-stars-164198n.24272239) Why would he care about this if he wasn''t going to remain as the Celtic manager? Don''t get your hopes up, you''re not getting a proven Champions League level manager.

 11.
He''s referring to total attendances. The Championship has higher crowds than Series A, only the Premier League, Bundesliga and La Liga have higher. I''m not sure the SPL even feature on the list of 20. Seems like it''s irrelevant to those in Scotland as well as those outside of it.
Arguably your sides greatest ever player, Snodgrass, came from Scotland''s division 2.
 12.
Actually Champions, the Championship is the fourth biggest league in Europe - god knows where the SPL is on that list, doubt it is even in the top ten.
No it isn''t. Do you mean in size or quality? La Liga > Bundesliga > EPL > Seria A.
 13.
Neither Barnsley or Shrewsbury are in The Championship, although both would probably qualify for Europe if they were playing in Scotland.
Just highlights how little interest anyone outside of England has in the English Championship. Irrelevant league.
 14.
and half the celtic forums think Larsson is returning as manager, why would that be if Lennon is staying ????
No they don''t. Just last night Lennon said he was worried about losing some of Celtic''s key players to Europe''s elite. Now, as Norwich''s manager, why would Lennon care about this?
 15.
The real problem with Neil Lennon is that nobody really knows if he is any good as a manager, since his only job as a manager has been at Celtic. Let''s be honest, you could put Bryan Gunn or Chris Hughton or anybody in charge of Celtic and they would walk the Scottish title. So really, he would be just as much of an unknown quantity as Neil Adams, and just as much of a risk.
Yeah, beating teams like Barcelona, Spartak Mockow, Ajax and qualifying for the Last 16 - no one knows how good he is. A season playing the likes of Barnsley and Shrewsbury will show the world his managerial ability,
 16. And what family problems would this be, then? Utter rubbish. He rejected you.
 17.

I''d take him at Celtic.
Lol, dream on.
Would be good to come off the bench on Champions League nights.
 18.
Hope it''s Lennon, so I get a return on the £85 I just staked on it
Unlucky.
 19.

Norwich are an English Premier League team, it won''t look right seeing them in the Championship.
No we are not. We are an English League team. No-one has a divine right to be in any division - ask Rangers. The English Leagues are littered with clubs who were once thought of as top teams - Preston, Blackpool and Luton to name three. We all simply want to do as well as we can.
Rangers is dead.
 20. Norwich are an English Premier League team, it won''t look right seeing them in the Championship.
 21.
Champions wrote: "I think too many people on here just dismiss a prospective manager , for no better reason than it is not their personal choice ... you are all babies !!" Why do you find it necessary to insult those not in agreement with you? It does nothing to enhance your point of view. I dismiss Sherwood because I believe him to be too controversial a character and not the right fit for NCFC at this moment in time. The ending of his spell at Carrow Road as a player, whilst hardly endearing the man to those with longish memories, also goes to support my opinion about the man, as stated in my second paragraph. My choice is MM, but even if he were not to be on the radar I would wholly wish the Board to steer clear of Tim Sherwood at all costs. I''m totally surprised he was even considered in the first place, if indeed he was.
I suppose you can''t really troll on football matters being a Norwich fan. Makes sense that you have to troll by making up fake quotes said by other users.
 22. He won''t take no shit from players? He can''t even look at a pre/post match interviewer in the eyes, he always looking away to avoid eye contact. Plus he has no tactical nous whatsoever. I have visions of him giving a school football team talk "Right, lads, we''re playing a 4-4-2 today. I want lots of hard work in the midfield and some good balls through to the strikers. Good luck."
