1. I hope McNally has a big stick and I also hope he still wouldn''t touch half of those names with it.
 2.

The Guardian are now saying that Martinez will battle Lambert for the job: http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2012/may/31/paul-lambert-roberto-martinez-villa?
Great find, thank you!
According to DW, Villa are not big enough for Martinez http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11682/7788036/Whelan-Villa-not-big-enough
 3. To be fair, even with Rodgers and Lambert in charge, i would imagine we would have still be fairly close to being favourites to go down. Second seasons syndrome and all.
 4. Can''t believe the clamour for Malky as new Manager. Whilst we all respect him as a ''good guy'' and excellent servant to our Club who left far to early, successful/ respected Managers have discipline as a key part of their make up. Remember the way Cardiff players threw promotion away when we went up and the failure to cross the line this year. Add to this lack of experience and MM really is not the man and nostalgia is no way to select any replacement if indeed it proves to be required!   What is Mike Walker up to these days? Failing that John Deehan? No wait a minute... Dave Stringer, I''m sure he''d jump at the chance.
 5.
Thanks for joining just to start a thread to express that view.
Thanks for posting a reply thanking for me joining just to express that view. We''ve all got to start somewhere...
 6. I always forget that not every player who plays for city supports city. I would give a nut to chase around Carrow road for norwich. That''s what''s most annoying about this whole Grant Holt situation. To utter that most painful of phrases... I''m not angry Grant, just disappointed. I never thought this would happen.
