1. Yeh he''s already gone. Good news for us. Imagine a Bruce - Naylor CB partnership, what a shambles.
 2. 1. They weren''t my Operation Premiership squad, or even Keane''s for that matter. Magilton built the team he did with players he believed could be successful for us. Roy, obviously, has a very different type of management style. He has no favourites he will play week in week out whether they put in a good shift at training or not. Roy has a lot more discipline in his methods and some players have perhaps not liked his style (Don''t try to pull the players don''t like Keane card when he has so many of his ex-players coming back to play for him). We all have our opinions on players and opinions change, as do players ability to play in different teams. Saying that, yes I did think some were rubbish at the time.2. I''m afraid I wouldn''t be able to tell you, it''s not like I have inside knowledge in the club. I''d guess Evans is trying to run a tighter budget after Keane''s apparent fail in the market last year, as is recognised by many. Trying to get players out and off the wage bill before inflating the squad again to somewhat unmanageable numbers. We did have a very large squad last year. But you already knew my answer to this question anyway, didn''t you. Finally, if you didn''t realise, there is still what 3/4 week left of the transfer window, in which time alot can happen, perhaps panic buys included.3. Again, I don''t know what goes in behind closed doors. Again, Evans is trying to run a tighter ship. It was a well known fact that Evans told Clegg that he wanted players out before in, the ''millions upon millions'' as you so elegantly put it may be spent in last weeks of the transfer market, I couldn''t tell you. Maybe his buisness has gone bust, but I highly doubt that. You just want me to tell you Evans doesn''t want to put money into the club anymore, just in form of tedius questions.4. Wages is the obvious answer. By the way, which transfers are you referring to? I couldn''t really comment without knowing who, in or out etc. Obviously Stead and the likes are just a matter of finding a club who will pay for his seemingly inflated wages, perhaps. Chopra, apparently, was asking for 18k a week which is fairly ridiculous at championship level. The Fulop deal is still ongoing. 5. When was this figure realised? In all honesty I didn''t know the state of our renewals. What was the figure in Jim''s last year of management? I''d say the hype of a ''big name'' manager is over and the fact that we finished 15th last year and were pretty poor for the majority of the season might answer your question. Quite.
 3. 1) - Lisbie - basically was told to piss off last season and is a joy to get off the wage bill, shocking player2) - Garvan - Tbf to the lad he is a talent, I think he may have some attitude problems which is why he has been deemed surplus to requirements, but can definately cut it at Champ level, maybe still with us. Lacking some pace and strength although he is a fantastic passer of the ball and always looks in control of the play3) - Stead - Would be good back up for next year, not a bad player, doesn''t really both me where he is next year, because he can hit the net, just not consistenly enough I''m afraid4) - Bruce - Not even good enough for squad player, pleased he''s off to Leeds tbh5) - Healy - Colin I''m guessing. Played a couple of games last year, haven''t seen enough of him to comment tbh, hopefully off the wage bill although maybe cut it as a squad player6) - Martin - I firmly believe he will be with us and firing next year, just needs a kick up the arse7) - Pablo - See Garvan. Can be inspirational, doesn''t like the cold8) - Quinn - Squad player through and through9) - D.Wright - Perhaps a mistake here, defensively he is fairly solid, not too great going forward though10) - R.Wright - Bye, shocker last year11) - Trotter - Holy sh*t I''m glad he''s gone, seems to be cutting it in League 1 though12) - Pim - Thought he had promise, had some potential and I wish him luck13) - Rosenior - Believes he''s a prem standard player, I laughed. Had a decent spell at the start and it was downhill from thereMy opinion on the outwards players. To back this up, we have a fantastic group of young players, Wickham being at the forefront (who will be a miss early on, but it would be season over if were to pin all our hopes on a 17 year old). I believe 3 or 4 of these players will begin to nail down a first team place in the coming season. Wickham, Hourihane, Hyam, Smith, Brown, Clark, Ainsley etc. Best crop of young players I can remember as a Town fan and being managed by a great guy. Anyhow, lets not get off topic here.As ever, I as the majority of Town fans are not all too pleased with Keane''s nouse in the transfer market. I mean Kennedy will be a very experienced head with a nice left foot and set piece, and undoubtedly he will bring O''Connor''s game on miles, but Kennedy at 34 will always be a lacking a yard of pace. Solid if unspectacular signing. Hourihane looks to be one for the future, although he could based on his pre-season games so far, be pushing for a role in the midfield, could do worse than chucking him in now imo, will be a good player if he continues to develop. I''d be very pleased with the signing of Fulop, which apparently will come to head in the next 24-48 hours, not sure which way yet. But he is certainly a good keeper and it would be a great competition between himself and Murphy for the number #1 jersey, both very good keepers. To say our squad is paper thin is slightly untruthful, however I can admit we are lacking a proven right back and of course a striker. We have a few square pegs in round holes at right back, Peters and Edwards for example, nevertheless both can do a job there. Ainsley is also coming through to push for a place. Up top it looks like we may well be left with Stead, Wickham, Priskin and Pablo up top. Stead I''ve explained to you, Wickham has huge potential but cannot be the centre of our hopes and dreams, although I wouldn''t bet against a 10-15 goal season from the lad. Priskin needs some confidence, as he clearly has ability and Pablo, well, he''s Pablo. Which does admittedly leave us a bit bare in both areas.--Sorry for the essay, just wanted to straighten a few of your thoughts. Any other questions? ;)
 4.

It looks like we could be chucking 4m at Chopra.:O
Chopra is good, but not 4 million good to be honest.
I think I''d probably agree with you there. Would be an exciting signing nevertheless. He might even flop like Priskin!
 5.

The biggest striking prospect in the country has to be worth a fair bit surely. Obviously lots of hot prospects fall by the wayside but Wickham has it all and he''s only just 17, big, strong, quick, great finisher and a footballing brain. Why should Ipswich sell him cheaply if they believe he''s going to go on to play at the very top level?
I''m making the observation that strikers need to score; and 1 in 5 is nothing remarkable. We have better than that in Chris Martin... Wickham may go on to be world class, but right now he seems to be rated incredibly highly - without the end product called goals! I doubt Robbie Fowler, Michael Owen, Wayne Rooney etc commenced their careers with stats as low as that?
Mate, to sum up, it''s a totally different league and Martin has 4 more years of experience. When Wickham is 20+ I have a feeling he won''t be playing in League 1.
 6. 1) Connor recently turned 17, Martin is 21.2) Connor is playing in the championship, Martin has been playing in league 1.3) You have obviously never seen him play.4) Majority of those appearances are from the bench.5) Norwich have been scoring an abundance of goals, Ipswich couldn''t score for sh*t last term. He is going to be one hell of a player when he grows up, wouldn''t mind betting he''s in the 23 for the World Cup 2014. He''ll probably bang in 10/15 goals next year ;)
