  1. it was apparently her in the end who said she wanted to come back.
  2. I can''t elaborate too much but as posted the other day there is still a possibility of a loan deal until end of season for Naismith, which would get rid of the problem of relegation clause and enable him to get used to being in the area. Whilst Everton had agreed terms the player did not, but with a loan deal the reverse could be more the case as they are really wanting to sell. this is ongoing as are two other continental players as mentioned the other day.
  3. Firstly wanted to apologise for my earlier post, as Naismith was due to join the team at Stoke hotel, and was due to sign on Monday but this all stalled for more than one reason, tho agreement was made with Everton. He is now back with them, there is possibility of a loan at end of month for rest of season ''with a view'' which would take out the problem of a relegation clause, and give him and his family an idea of what it is like in sunny Norfolk. Do we really want that though? There are others in the pipeline though especially from the continent, and may yet be a surprise or two!
  4. Naismith will not be the last signing. There are possibly two more European players in the transfer pipeline but these things do get somewhat protracted.
  5. wasn''t Willo who said this it was me. I am a new poster to the forum, wanted to share some good news!
  6. McNally has done an incredible job when you think we were almost bankrupt when he took over and in League 1. Now in premiership, and financially stable, and he has brought in to the club probably the two best managers we have ever had.
  7. Deal sorted now, joining squad at team hotel near Stuke tomorrow, and will probably watch the game Wed.
  8. joining the squad at hotel in Stoke tomorrow, and will be watching the game there!
  9. In fact I am a lifelong canary fan and have been gong to Carrow road for 50 years now. I am a Major thats true enough, but am not on the board or know any of the Board tho I have met Delia a couple of times. What is true though is what I put in my original post. Our best real signings in recent years have been PL and then AN both signed through McNally who himself was signed by Delia! In terms of players Naismith should be here by the end of the week possibly even be meeting up with the team and watching the Stoke game.
  10. I do get rather fed up with all the negative stuff especially towards Delia & Michael who have committed an awful lot of their own money to help keep the club going, and are genuine supporters. I am very grateful to them and in securing the services of David McNally I believe they made a superb signing. we have a very astute chief Executive who has made a massive difference since he took over when we were in fact in League 1. From an almost bankrupt situation we are now one of the most stable financial clubs in England and now in the Premiership. He helped to sign two brilliant managers in PL and AN even although I accept CH was somewhat of a disappointment, though did keep us up in his first season. So to my way of thinking our 3 best signings in recent seasons have been McNally(signed by Delia etc) and in turn Paul Lambert and Alex Neil both signed by McNally and his team from out of the blue really. Credit where credit is due!
