  1. Why is everyone knocking Semmy and the Doc. I thought they were both OK last night and that the issue was Spillane, not in my opinion a good centre half doesnt read the game well and has not got enough pace, hence the sending off (caught out of position and too slow to react), his lack of experience was exploited by the Sunderland frontline time and time again, he got pulled out of position too many times leaving Semmy and the Doc to cover for him. Overall I thought last night was a good performance and was a further improvement on the weekend, when lets be honest Wycombe were a poor side, we need to tighten up in defence yes and I think Lambert needs to sit down and talk to Stevanovic as him and the Doc in the centre of the back four would be great with Semmy and Drury either side. If we continue to show the same commitment in the coming weeks then we start to move in the right direction as a football club and the good times will return
  2. Totally agree Scooby, just a mediocre manager whose best achievement is a semi final, otherwise mid table obsucrity in the lower leagues. But as ever we will get behind him and the team and our hopes will be revitalised.
  3. Totally agree, our stewards are s**t and I hope the enquiry focuses on them and their lack of ability to do their job properly. Regarding the football, well I left ofter 23 minutes never felt so gutted at the start of a season as I did on Saturday afternoon. I was looking forward to the game so much as I believe and still do that we will have a good season but to have your guts ripped out after 20 minutes was too much to take, dont mind losing if we put up a decent performance but that lot.........well enough said and here''s hoping
  4. Happy with a fourth division manager, sorry but I thought we need to plan a strategy to get out of this mess we are in........at a loss yet as to how, but Robins is not the man
  5. Well said Leeds Yellow Hux is and always will be a legend as far as I am concerned, without him, it could be argued, we would not have enjoyed the success we had a few years ago, he stuck with us when It would have been easier to "fly from the nest"  and I frimly believe he still has a part to play in what will undoutbly become a successful future.
  6. Agree with your comments, but what is going to happen now that the brilliant Mr Doncaster has sacked the goalkeeping coach of the last 6 years, who has single handedly been responsible for the excellent crop of goalkeepers we have.
  7. My choice is that of Paul Jewel, however the current situation should be used as an opportunity to have a clear out at a higher level. The chief executive should go. Yes I know we have to balance the books but we are being run by a bunch of accountants who seem to have no desire for the football club to be successful. Whoever gets the job has to be strong and stand up to our board and demand funds and not be afraid to be outspoken at times, too many times in the past the board have appointed people who would not be confrontational
