  1. Just entered two teams with no problems. Best try again.
  2. Will be entering a couple of teams for me and the missus later tonight. Hopefully will get a mighty mini league to match our success at Carra Road this Season!!
  3. Leaks are already emerging that the board totally believes that they genuinely have made no mistakes at all and the sole reasons for our abject failure is that The Wizards Hexes did not work at all during the season. The Board also believes that they have 100% confidence in themselves and it is totally everybody elses fault. The Board have sent the boys round to the Wizards castle abode with their findings, although Marshall dropped them on the way, Jamie was told that his goal was to find the address and is seriously lost and Semmy raced off at 100 mph passed the castle and hasn''t been seen since. I don''t take any pleasure in making fun of our players although feel that they haven''t had any qualms in doing so to us in return, for quite a while now. I for one don''t agree with the board in their findings on The Wiz  and am sure his hexes will terrify the likes of Exeter next year, God help us. The boards total lack of ambition and continued wrong decision making has led us to where we are. If nothing is done now, which I fear will be the case, then OUR club will never see success again. I wonder how many more leaks will emerge as the day goes on?
  4. Thank you one 4, for your best wishes and to everyone that has replied. This year I will be 44 and therefore have many good and afraid more bad memories of watching the yellows. One thing is for sure, though many things in life will change but never your team. Always the optimist next season will be the big one
  5. The reality is that Sunday was one of the saddest days of my life and then on Monday my father died. This is not a piece trying to put things into perspective as the reality is that life does that on it''s own. I loved my father dearly and probarly never told him that enough. The truth is that I didn''t really know him as well as I should have done through circumstances  of my parents splitting when I was very young like many thousands of  similar people.  When I was younger I supported Spurs as my best mate did at the time. My father took me to my first game when I was about ten and I remember clearly many times standing next to the pylons in the corner between the Barclay and the South Stand and also standing at the front of the South stand at pitchside before becoming  season ticket holders in the River End. I soon became hooked on Norwich City and remain so to this day. I have many memories standing next to him at Wembley at the Milk Cup Final as well as at the two semi-finals against Ipswich and at Villa park in the FA Cup semi-final on that terrible Hillsborough day. Most of my memories of us together were following our beloved club as well as almost every telephone call since I moved abroad centered on the clubs current standing. I am sorry if some people think that this piece is not appropriate on this forum but my father loved the club as much as I do and I know that next season my Dad will be looking down and cheering us on even more so. In a book I have just read, it finished by saying that " Dying is no big deal, the least of us will manage that. Living''s the trick" My Dad did live and he will remain with everyone who knew him. I will try to end this on a lighter note although I must admit I do not feel that way. When we got relegated from the Premier League my wife said that at least next year you will see a few more wins. She has not said anything this time. Maybe the reality has hit her too. Maybe it was not a lighter note to end on after all. My Dad might have gone so it will be up to me to shout, curse and cheer on his behalf. I hope it is the latter more so than not as I will always remember him with a smile on his face and a loud chant of "Come On You Yellows". Thank you if you have read this and OTBC.
  6. Been a supporter for over 40 years now and seen many ups and many more downs but today is the worst I have ever felt. Saying you are City Til You Die is very easy but for most of us there is simply no choice. Will be shouting for the yellows whatever happens but this is our club and all I want to see is the players responding in the same manner. If we lose to a better team after playing our heart out that is all I ask and can accept. That hasn''t happened for a long time now. Sad, Sad day for everyone connected to NCFC, absolutely gutted.
  7. Wolves will be champions with a win on Saturday. Enough of an incentive to win well at Barnsley we must hope!!
  8. Have a good birthday mate. It is a sell out and live on Setanta. Lets hope we play better than we normally do on the box. Time to forget all the pre-season goings on and really get behind our team. After all, all we want is a successful club isn''t it?
  9. Monday''s game against Spurs is live on Setanta Sports, better than Radio Norfolk !! Mind you how we normally play on TV and against Premier opposition maybe we''ll sound better on the wireless!!
  10. It is reported in the People that we are in pole position for James Brown for £500,000 from Hartlepole. At least we are finally being linked with a striker but half a million seems a bit steep. At least if he turns out to be another donkey he might add a few tunes on the team bus!!
  11. Continually getting error messages and unable to log on. Tried to e-mail the world site via their help page and it came back displaying error!! Bet they won''t credit our account for their service being unavailable. This is not the first time this has happened and I suppose won''t be the last, as they are quite happy to take our money and not correct their mounting problems on this site. Living in Spain I rely on this service but will have to make due with soccer saturday on Sky sports and save myself £40
