1.
Yep. Soccer Saturday is now only on Sky Sports News - Which I believe is no longer on Freeview? Hopefully you can still watch it through their website.
I hear they are taking it off freeview. Will be gutted as 95% of my tv watching is on the mighty channel 83 and the gorgeous female presenters.
 2.

noone will sing a 4 minute song!
Chelsea used to sing "one man went to..........." for the whole game. then again that was when they were crap and had nothing to cheer, but it was entertaining. Also that was when they only took a 300-500 max to away games - less than 20 years ago aswell, oh how I love the "new" Man City, Chelsea, Man Utd, Arsenal fans. Been to Chelsea in the early 90s { 12,000}, Arsenal { 27,000}, Man City {18,000}, Man Utd {22,000}, guess they were all working on the rigs in those days LOL.
fans dont sing as miuch now a days
Strange that attendences go up, and fans sing less. Thats not me being sarcastic, just an observation.
Probably to busy p1ss1ng about texting Felicity on the Blackberry........
LOL.
 3.

Its funny that people were clamouring for us to sign Fraser Forster in the close season, before we settled on Ruddy. I can''t remember him ever gifting a goal away in a competitive game in the last minute against our closest rivals in that league... [:^)]
He also pulled off 3 magnificent saves, that kept us in the game, away to Leeds before that sloppy goal kick that led to the goal. Also the defenders all had thier backs turned to him, and should in theory have been watching the ball. But that was last season, new season, new players, new chances. Ive noticed a lot of you on here, {not talking about you Leedscanary} have some strange ideas about keepers. As I mentioned on another page, i was fortunate to play in Norfolks top Leagues as a keeper, and also had a trial {which came to nothing, so didnt work that hard LOl}, how many of you have goalkeeping experience? Not a put down, just in general, people dont appreciate just how hard a keepers job is. Its not a case of sitting on your arse for 90 minutes making the odd save. you need to concentrate for 90+ minutes, organise, etc.
Maybe my sarcasm didn''t come over as intended - I was trying to illustrate that one mistake doesn''t make a bad ''keeper. Think James, Greeno, Taibi (sp), Forster, Robinson, the list goes on - make an error as a defender and it is usually swallowed up by another def or the ''keeper, make a rickett as a ''keeper and it usually ends in a goal and countless replays. All the afore mentioned have made momentous co ck ups in the past, but are still top class ''keepers. I won''t comment on Theo, as I never had the "pleasure" of seeing him play!
I know mate, I just took the oportunity to point out some people seem quick to criticise a keeper, as they are easy cannon fodder, but if you understand a keepers job, its far more than what people give it credit. I want aiming it at you. Apologise if it came across that way.
 4. No need to sink to insults, we are never going to agree on the same subject. Now about David James Banana LOL.
 5. A mate scored a volley against me in the school cup one year, and kept saying it was a Van Bastan. Took people nearly a year to explain to him that a volley well in the 6 yard box, volleying in from a rebound of my save, is nowhere near Van Bastan scoring a volley from near the corner flag. If i bump into him to this day he brings it up. "You were one of the top keepers about and i done you with a Van Bastan", yeah righty oh then.

Content watching soap operas and beliving their village is safe from harm. Sport is designed to be competitive and this person shows none of this. If you support a team just to be safe from harm, then you have to ask why you really bother - more so write about it. It becomes pointless in their, the Nanas, point of view and may as well do something less boring instead. A Grade Muppet. Object of sport is to win, not just compete and get as far up as that ladder as possible. Thinking otherwise it just becomes a past time/hobby.
thats all we would do in the prem. Just make up the numbers.
But if you dont want us in the premiership, you must want us to stay in the championship, therefore we would be just "making up the numbers" in the championship wouldnt we?
Still one of my ''all-time'' favourite WC moments. You insult me or my family, and BANG. Have that! ZZ is a legend! [Y]
best player of my time!
Van Bastan for me, no contest.
Seconded. Absolute class. One of the best players never to win the World cup. (Watch this get moved to the WC section now!) [:O]
Lol. Pete wouldn''t do that...would he [:P]
Bet he would LOL.
 10. Van Bastan is one of the very, very few players, i would say could have played any generation and would still stand out, 60s, 70s, 2010 etc, he would be the 1st name on the sheet. This clip doesnt do him justice http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qHo9Bb7hAb4 but its a small glimpse of how good he was.

 21.
If england so called #1 can make mistake after mistake and still be #1 then one mistake means noting. anyway its in a game which meant nothing!
Christ, theres another thread for this argument. Was he made England No1 because hes the best English keeper around, or because he makes mistakes every single game, and they thought it would be a laugh? In my short conversations with you, would I be right in guessing you are a teenager?
 22. Good points well made. Someone said John Ruddy was better than David James yesterday, I said I beg to difer, and all of a sudden, people were accusing me of slagging off Ruddy, as I dared to say Englands NO1 was better than Norwichs NO1. For the record, I think Ruddy will be decent at championship level. I wont be salgging anyone off, any new signings untill they have a few games under their belt, the same as i wont be praising the bollox off players untill I have seen them perform.
 23. Norwich City 2, Everton 4 Norwich fell to the first defeat of their pre-season campaign against Everton at Carrow Road this afternoon     Just a minor thing, but shouldnt our own local news service know that we lost to Dagenham?
