  1. No, get real and get in the real world. These are namby pampy footballers who will leave at the drop of a hat if its going to benefit them, same as you would if someone coughed up more money for you to do the same thing
  2. Agree totally, now we''ll see if PTP is true to his word. Robinson and Hughes and Doherty should be nowhere near the teamsheet(or the bench) for Saturday, and Hucks will also be lucky to survive. Too many of these players are of a poor standard in terms of football, we all know that, but I cannot stomach players with no fight, especially in a local derby. My team for Saturday would be Camp(can''t be any worse than what we''ve seen, and England rate him highly enough at Under 21 level) Colin(thought he looked okay and looked like he cared) Spillane Shackell(best of a bad bunch, again looked like he cared, make him team captain NOW) Rossi Jarvis(how did edp make Drury MOTM, count how many crosses their winger got in!!!!!!!!!!) Chadwick Safri(only because he''s the best of a bad bunch, and play him as a proper midfielder, not sitting in front of back four)) Etuhu(lazy but has the talent) Eagle(in a proper 4-4-2 we need someone who defends when opponents have the ball, not wander back) Earnshaw Ryan Jarvis Subs: Gallagher, Huckerby, Dublin, Fisk, Drury. That would leave Hughes, Robinson, McVeigh, Fleming, Doherty, Ashdown(whats the point!!!), Thorne, Louis-Jean out of the squad, and hopefully out of the club come end of season. Its gotta be kids kids kids from now on, give them a run in the team. One thing you know is they''ll give you 100%
  3. I was there, lot of crowd trouble that day, remember someone getting their foot  run over by a police van outside the ground. Struggling with the right winger, any clues, just can''t think who was out there. Remember Muzinci though, he made Hughes look like Ronaldinho!!!
  4. Yeh good idea mate, now crawl back from whence you came. For gods sake get behind the team during the match, not moan and groan at them. Its a dodgy time but remember we have had the good times, and to appreciate them there will also be bad times. What we don''t need is people like you spouting off your anti-worthy rubbish during the game, so please stay away, put your anorak on and go and spot some trains down the station, and leave the supporting to the real fans of NCFC. Keep the Faith
  5. Well done mate, totally agree. This is no different to what Worthy normally does, keep his cards fairly close to his chest, and go from there. I don''t expect anybody to come in until after the Holland trip, and then I''m sure that by the time August comes round he''ll have it sorted. The players that have gone wouldn''t have been first choices this season(Helveg apart) so the spine of the team is still there. Yes it needs back-up players in case of injuries, but as someone else stated, whats the point of the academy if we''re not gonna play any of them.
  6. Agreed, time to get behind the guy. Trouble is if you knew the real reason behind his startling lack of form at the tail end of last season you wouldn''t be in such a hurry to slag the guy off. There were personal problems that would affect anyone, no matter who or what their profession, so lets hope he stays and repeats the form that we all know he has. he is a guaranteed ten/twelve goal a season man in the Championship, which will be invaluble from midfield.
  7. Having read the many messages from this sites and others over the past 24 hours, despite the rantings and ravings of one or two who obviously don''t live in the real world, most people are of the same opinions about where Norwich City are at. I firmly believe that six weeks ago we were at a crossroads in our season. We had just beaten West Brom(albeit fortunately) at home, and with Blackburn away to come we were in with a real chance of staying up. However since that victory the club has taken a massive step backwards in their survival bid, and as well as the players the management team must hold up their hands and admit responsibility. Our tactics have been at best interesting and at their worst inept. Against Manchester City we were naive after going two up, against Chelsea the same having got back on level terms. Against Bolton, wrong team, wrong tactics, wrong substitutions(or lack of them). Bolton are renowned for their one up front and crowding the midfield, so why did we not adapt our system, three at the back, five in midfield, two up front. Yes the players must take the blame once they step onto the pitch but tactically the coaching staff got in wrong, and everyone I have spoken to says exactly the same thing. I am bemused by his reluctance to play the best players, as must the players be themselves. Safri/Charlton/Doherty/Helveg/Jonson, our five outfield signings to help us stay in the Premiership who were available Saturday, not one started the match. If Worthy thinks they no better than Edworthy/Holt/Fleming then why buy them in the first place, and to quote Worthy"We''ll only bring players to this club who are better than what we already have". Add to this Paul McVeigh(McVeigh or Stuart, you decide!!!!). The best passer in this club since Ian Crook(Mulryne/Safri or Holt, you decide!!!), a promising youngster who has skill and an eye for goal(Henderson or Stuart, you decide!). Everyone seems to think we will be top six in the Championship next season, funny I remember we were only on loan last time(for TEN YEARS). It has taken us ten years to get back here, and we have blown any chance we have of staying. And yes i know it was always going to be hard, but we have made it a lot harder on ourselves lets hope for all our sakes it doesn''t take another ten to get back again. For every Bolton/Charlton and maybe Sunderland, there''s a Leicester/Notts Forest/Sheff Wednesday. I could live with some of these results if it wasn''t for the fact that matches were there to be won. bolton were nothing special for a team chasing european qualification but they didn''t have to be on the day, and for Worthy to come out and praise the players was just a nonsense, yes they battled hard but that gets you nowhere in this league. Sowhere do we go from here. Well despite his shortcomings I still believe Worthy is the best man for the job, and changing managers now solves nothing. But I think he has to look at his coaching staff because they must take some responsibility as well, and then I think he should look for a group of players from the current squad that are good enough not only to get us back up again, but good enough to stay there next time, and add to that four or five signings, possibly from the lower leagues to build for the future. 8. Disappointed with the last three results but did anyone apart from the eternal optimist really expect too much out of them even with a full squad, maybe a point at the most. We just have to hang in there for as long as we can, it certainly looks like three from four(Palace, Soton, WBA & us) with possibly one more(Fulham,Blackburn, Man City!!). Unless we sell Green spending 1.2 million(if that is the correct figure) is not going to buy us the players to kick on into mid table. I still have confidence that we can stay up,. I certainly think we are a better side than WBA and Soton, Palace are the team that worry me as they seem to have settled into a rythmn, although hopefully someone will take Johnson in January which I think may seal their fate. The unfortunate thing with injuries is that the replacements, for whatever reason, are not or not yet premiership players.
