  1. It's always the fault of those being bullied.
  2. EU triggers section 16 and a border for vaccines between NI and Eire: https://www.express.co.uk/news/politics/1390911/Brexit-news-uk-eu-clause-european-commission-vaccine-latest-AstraZeneca-supply
  3. All media should have always criticized the EU. At last they are seeing the light.
  4. It is our money redirected, just as UK taxpayers money is redirected by HMG to spend on NHS etc. We chose not to accept this any more and took back control of the 15 Billion or so we pay the EU annually. We can now give that directly to biotech if we wish rather than having the EU do it for us. Why should the EU continue to take undeserved credit from ignorant people like you for spending OUR money ..... 😎 I am not surprised really that you cannot understand this simple fact. 😛
  5. Indeed Ricardo, I referred to that exact point also last week. The EU put money and its own state control above its own people's lives and those EU backers criticised us for putting lives before money. The media at last is starting to criticise the EU ....... a scathing article here : https://www.express.co.uk/comment/expresscomment/1390792/eu-news-covid-19-vaccine-astrazeneca-novavax-ursula-von-der-leyen-uk-vaccine-rollout
  6. So because I validly criticise the French or Germans I am a racist. You don't really know what racism is.
  7. Yes totally racist Brexiteer, just like all the others, in your sad little mind. 😎 I find it quite amazing that after sight of all of the evidence that damns the EU in so many areas that they can still do no wrong.
  8. Yes, and of course it surely could not be the EU could it in order to deflect attention from its own ongoing negligence and incompetence.
  9. You cannot get Vitamin D from the sun at this time of the year in the UK as there is not enough UVB radiation........ you get it from food or supplements.
  10. You really are a joker. The EU has never had its own money.
  11. So refreshing to see at least one person on this BB understands the obvious 🤣
  12. Our reputation has taken massive strides forward while others have taken steps backwards (namely France and Germany) since January 1st and many countries will now wish to follow in our footsteps imo.
  13. That was not EU money. It was our money redirected to make it look like their money !!!!!! It will indeed be interesting to see what money they can redirect in the future as they are effectively broke after our leaving.
  14. The finance is global but the expertise is clearly in the UK. Foreign workers are also magnetically drawn towards us and for some reason wish to reside in one of the most free, vibrant, welcoming and independent countries in the world.
  15. Well it worked in our favour so maybe give Boris some credit for allowing it to develop here.....😉
  16. I know you don't like to admit it but we really should be proud. We are tops in biotech and this has been acknowledged for a few years and now we have absolute proof that we are a world leader which augurs well for our independent future.
  17. I have a feeling it was the UK variant as the expert said that it was just as widespread as the original and thus the data is excellent for both.
  18. Aha....I may be wrong. A Novavax expert on Five Live stated that 50% of testing was done on each variant but maybe he was referring to the UK variant. That sounds more correct doesn't it.
  19. Of course it will be some time, but the key thing is that it should be an end to lockdowns, an end to high death rates and high hospital admissions and a slow return to some form of normality for our country, and well ahead of the rest of the world thanks to the scientific expertise in our country. 🤗
  20. Indeed, but the expertise is in the UK 🤗
  21. Surely it is not going unnoticed by the world that the UK is now a centre of excellence for vaccine development. I am so proud of my country...... 🤗 Novavax has 89% efficacy on UK and Brazil variants !!! NB: Apologies but I think that should be Kent variant rather than Brazil variant... my error methinks
  22. So my remoaner friends, how is the EU vaccine program going ? 😂😂 The irony is that we were told by 'Project Fear' that we would run out of drugs but the EU has run out of vaccine and we have most of it !!!! 😎 There is a rather sweet waft of karma here............. As some MEP commentator from the EU said this week, " this is about the best advert for Brexit " Even remainer Robert Peston reported that he was beginning to understand what Brexit was about !!!! 🤣
  23. If it works on the under 65s without issues then surely all that can go wrong on the elderly/vulnerable is that it may not work and obviously there could be some yet unseen side effects as with Pfizer, but we will see those early on if serious and can backtrack if necessary, so there is really nothing much to lose, as the upside is that it may well work and save thousands of lives.
  24. Indeed, and i've just tallied up some figures for comparison with USA out of interest, as I could not find totals for the EU anywhere. Make of it as you will but the EU is rapidly heading for half a million deaths : Total deaths throughout EU countries to-date = 463,189 Additional deaths reported today = 3,660 Population 488 million Total deaths in USA to-date = 442,631 Additional deaths today = 2,793 Population 332 million
