shefcanary 2,408 Posted February 8, 2015 Cameron McGeehan''s loan at Cambridge ended in controversial style. Sent off for "flicking a boot lace" at the Wycombe goalie, after he retaliated to being stamped on. The goalie''s reaction was disgusting, but a lesson learnt for Cam. However how does the 3 game van work now, and should Norwich appeal it, because it may limit our chances of giving him a suitable next loan period? After a spell in the conference, a spell in League 2, surely a League 1 loan is next to sharpen him up for next season. I still think that of the Youth Cup winning team, in the long term ge will be the true star player.
shefcanary 2,408 Posted February 8, 2015 For "van" read "ban".
ZLF 274 Posted February 8, 2015 No chance of overturning the red - the goalie played his part in taunting and over reacting one but a clear kick to the calfs with the boot following the laces through is not a yellow card offence. Will need to learn to temper his temper but has impressed so far and a further loan is exactly what he needs
Tetteys Jig 830 Posted February 8, 2015 Well I guess that keeps him out of action for us until Tuesday week...We might as well keep him and use him in the under 21''s until 22nd Feb. Do under 21''s matches count towards his ban? That''ll be about the time Dorrans will be due to arrive, so if Cammy has impressed again for under 21''s we can decide if we need Dorrans or not.
