pete 319 Posted September 23, 2014 Its a disappointing result but its the sort of run of games that requires the squad to be utilised. Perhaps the squad is not as strong we think it might be but the team looked ok before the game. Remember Shrewsbury beat Premier League team in Leicester so no mugs at home for certain. Most disappointing is there was no shots on target.We have had poor results in the league Cup in the past and gone onto success at end of season lets hope its an omen. However, the defensive failings (at set pieces) need to be fixed and Adams is struggling to fit his players into different systems successfully.
