Dame to Blame 95 Posted May 1, 2005 With southampton winning against us they now have something to play for when they go to palace next week , if they had lost they would have been doomed and 3 easy points for palace ,but the story is a lot different now and a draw looks likly , and it could have been a lot worse had palace won as wellso not all lost yet. AJ 1,221 Posted May 1, 2005 god way to look at it, but if the win, then it puts them in an even better position!A draw would really be a good result, but i cant see it, somone is going to win.....
We need a Manager 0 Posted May 1, 2005 No its not all lost yet , but it is now at the stage where we need to get 2 wins and hope other results go for us which is hardly ideal . And after failing to get an away win all season (how you can score 6 away from home in two matches for just 1 point is beyond me) do people really think we will beat Fulham on the last day ?. On a brighter note if we were offered this position of being 1 point behind with 2 games left before the Man Utd game we would of jumped at it. Finally would you rather have 30 pts with Birmingham and Fulham left to play or 31 pts with an away trip to Palace and Man Utd left (Saints).Imo Palace will stay up with 35pts unless the Baggies pull off a shock win againstArsenal or Man Utd then it will be them with 36pts.
