Tacklebury 0 Posted May 15, 2005 And no, I''m not sure I can find any that really help. About the best I can find is that we don''t have to sell anyone (though after today''s showing, there are one or two I''d usher out of the door anyway) whereas Saints could well now go the way of Leeds, etc, and Palace will now probably lose Johnson, Routledge and possible Dowie, leaving them with precious little else. So hopefully we''ll be the best placed team to bounce straight back, which I''d fancy us to do.No, it still isn''t helping. I''m gutted. Absolutely gutted. Can anybody else think of anything to help soothe the pain?
LinkNR9 0 Posted May 16, 2005 A bottle of brandy would remove the pain temporarily, but you''d be left with even greater pain tomorrow! The merest crumb of comfort is that we haven''t stitched ourselves up financially, so we won''t need to sell players and we won''t make ourselves look a bunch of inept accountants like the Scum! Finally, without doubt, we have the best supporters in the land, as fans from other Clubs keep telling us. As Arnie would say, "We''ll be back"!
Bird Table 0 Posted May 16, 2005 Now I''m scraping the barrel here to say the least, but we can look forward to going to a couple of new stadiums next season at Coventry and Hull. Mmmm, that''s not helping is it?
