pete 319 Posted June 4, 2013 Not perhaps good news for Cardiff. Championship winners do not have a particularly good record in longevity in the Prem. Recently see Reading, QPR, Wolves, WBA and Sunderland to name a few recent winners, some bounce back. Newcastle into third season bucking the trend.Runners up much better record. When Norwich City gained promotion to the Premier League they were the first team to be relegated to, relegated from, promoted to and promoted from the Championship. Bill 1,788 Posted June 4, 2013 they went up in 01/02the year we lost in the play offsthe Championship started in 04/05 so technically it doesn''t count for themso our ''achievement'' is not that unusual as there has been little chance for others to achieve it given how few years it has been going
