Evesham Canary 0 Posted May 9, 2013 I think that even if we stay up it is clear the squad needs an over haul. Ruddy and Bassong would get into half the prem teams (maybe more than half for Ruddy) but not many others in our squad would. Last season we had momentum from successive promotions to carry us through. Issues with the squad started to show as the season wore on - this no doubt being a factor in Lamberts decision to jump ship whilst his stock remained so high. A number of players started to get found out - notably Morison. I guess we all feel City need at least 5 new players to replace the likes of Martin, Ward, Tierney, Fox, Smith, Barnett & Jackson who all look likely departures.
