Pre match drink...

Recommended Posts

If antone travling to Stoke on Saturday fancies a drink, make your way to The Terrace  on Leek Road Postcode ST4 2BW.They have buses that take you straight to the away end at the ground  A lot of Norwich fans used the pub last season and there was no trouble If you are travelling by train its just a 15 min walk Turn right out of the station walk down to the lights and go left You will be on Leek Rd , walk for about 10mins ,the pub is on the left opposite the uni.

Yes, I recommend getting on the Stoke Hooley bus. It leaves the away fans pub at 1.45pm, does a round trip and back again for a second 2.15pm departure. It goes straight to the ground and drops off in the cage for the away fans. For your £3 fare you should get a blues and twos escort past all the traffic with police looking after you on the bus.

You can get the bus back from where you get off.Not sure if it takes you back the pub or the train station. Anyway hope you all have a safe journey to my wonderful city (tongue in cheek) Dont expect to much if you visit Stoke town centre , its a bit of a shite hole . Hanley is the main town of Stoke on trent but thats nothing to exciting If you are comimg north up the M6 Stone is a nice little town with a couple of nice pubs.If you arrive with a couple of hours spare there is Trentham Gardens were you can get a drink and something to eat.Its only 15 20 mins drive to the ground.Antway have a good day and leave Stoke has you found it (Rough)
