ABC (A Basingstoke Canary) 26 Posted March 21, 2013 According to this guys prediction: "In fact, I think they''ll win two and draw two of their remaining home games, and earn eight points in the process, to ensure they''re playing Premier League football again next season." Therefore, if we were to accept his analysis, then there is no point turning up at Wigan or Stoke - let alone Arsenal or Man City! Perhaps if we looked at a realistic scenario: Wigan (a) - possible 3 points, probable 1 pointSwansea (h) - possible 3 points, probable 1 pointArsenal (a) - possible 1 point, probable 0Reading (h) - possible 3 points, probable 3 pointsStoke (a) - possible 1 point, probable 1 pointVilla (h) - possible 3 points, probable 3 pointWBA (h) - possible 3 points, probable 1 pointMan City (a) - possible 1 point, probable 0 Which gives a realistic possibilty of 18 points and a realistic probability of 10 points. I suspect any figures either side of these would fall into the "unrealistic" category. Giving us a realistic end of season total between 44 and 52 points And, for the worriers, this "realistically" means not only are we possibly going to stay up, but also probably going to stay up [:)]
