Archie 0 Posted February 11, 2004 Is it just me that gets irritated when Sven and friends say that a goalkeeper needs to get tested at the highest level, ie the premier league, to be even considered for the England squad. I would have thought that it was the one position where it is not necessary to play in the top flight - you are always going to get top-quality shots and as a result Greeno makes top-qualtiy saves. Any Norwich fan knows that Greeno could easily make the squad for Euro 2004 but until we go up he won''t get a look in.
