spudgfsh 0 Posted November 25, 2012 While reading that font of all ''correct'' information Wikipedia there was a claim on the norwich city page that we were ''bitter rivals with QPR, Wolves and Leeds''.I remember chants of ''We only hate wolves and Ipswich'' but have we ever had anything more than a dislike of QPR and Leeds and only then because we were in a race for a title with them during one season.do any of these teams consider us a rival? would you actively look for those teams when the fixture list came out? Aggy 944 Posted November 25, 2012 I think there was a bit of a dislike of QPR when they had Warnock in charge, but I wouldn''t really call it a rivalry. And I don''t think we dislike Leeds any more than most other clubs - they may have something against us for nicking all their best players, but it''s not quite the same as the Ipswich rivalry! Wings of a Sparrow 1,708 Posted November 25, 2012 Certainly the rivalry with QPR goes back to the eighties.I remember vividly fighting breaking out to the strains of Racey''s "Some Girls do" on the terraces at Loftus Road.It may even go back to the time we prevented them winning the title (1976?) winning 3-2 at Carrow Road. And everyone hates Leeds don''t they? I doubt they see us as "rivals" in any shape or form.
