priceyrice 133 Posted June 1, 2012 So with lambert leaving, the best news i can think that may come from all of this is that perhaps he will take his love child with him and we will no longer have to suffer watching Ward make the some shocking attempts at a tackle we will ever see. Perhaps lambert could bring the Doc in alongside him at Villa?i have to say, Lambert and has CB choices has always bemused me, so i am looking forward to getting a bit more solid at the back, with some prem experience hopefully coming in. Just thinking our defense is very weak atm, we have:LB - Lappin and Tierney (Tierney should be ok, if rumours are all made up and his injury problem sorts itself out)CB - Barnett, Ward, Bennett and Ayala (out of them i would say only Bennett has looked ready for the prem, and even he''s had poor games)RB - Martin, Francomb (neither prem quality at RB, Martin looked good at CB though)Looking at our defense, i have some serious concerns, lambert has left it in one hell of a mess and the next manager is going to have to spend a large chunk of our budget on this part of the team Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

priceyrice 133 Posted June 1, 2012 I hope your right, but i just think he is overrated on this board, hasn''t particularly shown anything great. He is a composed player, but like all our defenders, made some silly individual mistakes when he''s played.
