marks 0 Posted February 25, 2012 Surely if Norwich finish in the top 10 and above swansea then PL should be manager of the year. Who else should receive it... Harry Redknap may only get 3rd good but not outstanding. Brendan Rogers? if we finish above them then surely PL has done the better job. Alan Pardew? top 7 finish but if he does not make the top 4 then its not outstanding. When one of the manchester clubs win the league thats no real suprise. But if we finish in the top 10 then that is outstanding, 17th would be good but top 10 outstanding.despite what happens today or next week or next, if we finish top 10 PL for manager of the year who else could get it? Indy_Bones 441 Posted February 25, 2012 It rarely goes to the managers that deserve it based on what they''ve got to work with and the clubs income/expenditure.Winning League 1 was ok, back to back promotions was great, staying in the prem would be fantastic, but a top 10 finish would be an unbeatable run of form for PL.But chances are that the clueless mug that is Mancini will get the award, from having bought the title whilst displaying dubious tactics and laughable man management ability...
