Staying in Manchester for Wigan game...

Is anyone staying in Manchester for the Wigan game? We were staying in Wigan itself but cancelled our hotel reservation as found a cheaper, better one in Manchester (which is a far better city!)

Wondering what train people were getting from Manchester to Wigan and if anyone else was staying there?

Btw if anyone is looking for accommodation, we got twin room in Copthorne Hotel, Salford Quays for £58 for the night (Laterooms.com)

My family are from Manchester, and wigan is a brilliant night out it''s something like 4-1 for women to men.

Just going up with a mate and hope to go to a few pubs and bars for a laugh!

We''re staying in Premier Inn just off Portland Road. Very central position. As for 4-1 ration women to men.......I suppose that maybe scientifically correct but you''d still require a thorough examination to prove that fact. That should let you know the quality of the "women" in Wigan.
