a1canary 0 Posted February 23, 2011 I know there have been a lot of posts on this topic but here''s another slant on it. Why do people boo really? I think people - managers, players, fans and media alike - can take it all a bit too literally. For a lot of people it''s just letting out some frustration. People assume it means that the boo-er (boo-ee?) must automatically think their team is rubbish or the manager is poor, they don''t appreciate their team etc. What if all it is is just venting some disappointment, as in "Booo, my team lost today, gutted." End of.We cheer when we win, we (some) boo when we lose. Why can''t we just leave it at that!
nutty nigel 7,902 Posted February 24, 2011 Because you''re not allowed to applaud the team off when they''re in the bottom six or boo the team off when they''re in the top six. Those are the rules! And those who break them will be shot!
Team Totty 0 Posted February 24, 2011 We were not up to our best tuesday but i will settle for the draw, we cant win them all but we are trying, i am fed up with people who start booing and shouting as soon as we loose possesion of the ball and carry it on all though the game. We need the fans behind the team not against them!
