Tangible Fixed Assets anyone?

Stockport - open end or the covered Popular stand?

Recommended Posts

If you had a choice as to where you could sit at Stockport, would you have sat in the covered Popular stand (which seemed to have few Stockport fans in it) or stayed in the open Railway End?

Surely the noise would have been better in the covered stand?

Yet again good numbers in the away end and you could have paid on the day for other parts of the ground.

We tried at times to get some noise going across the whole end but it just wasn''t happening. Yes you have no benefits of the acoustics that a roof with a stand give you, but I''ve got to say that the make up of the away fans today was lacking in vocal energy. You would not have believed we had scored our first goal listening to the noise or the animation of our body language. I was going to call in the undertakers at one point...a bit harsh I know but you get the picture!

Hello Bluearse is fooked!

Don''t tell me the Village Idiot is giving you a five minute break, it must be so lonely in that dark backroom at work.

Is he still hurling abuse at opposition fans from you fur dice bedecked Escort?

FOYSC!!

It was certainly possible to generate a reasonable amount of noise in the popular stand with not many fans.

They were deliberately keeping the two blocks nearest the away fans empty, they moved me on when I sat in them anyway.

I reckon we could have filled the popular stand (or almost) so I''ll go for that one.
