Being Jan Kristiansen... 0 Posted August 5, 2004 Here is my tabloid logic on the situation:Pompy want to buy Carrick as their midfield needs strengthening. They were going to recieve an income from selling some other bloke to Fulham for £2million but that feel through so they have less money than the origional thought. The only other two offers they have had in the summer is £2million for Taylor (young wing back who is a first choice player) and £750,000 for Primus (an important member of the squad who can play anywhere at the back but is not in Harry''s first 11). Having already added Unsworth and Griffen without disposing of any of last years defenders it seems a bit odd that they are interested in Moore wouldnt you say?
