A reasonably realistic shopping list from £20million from me would be:

• Kevin McNaughton (Cardiff) - £1.5m
• Danny Shittu (Watford) - £2m
• Martin Taylor (Birmingham) - £1.25m or Kasper Gorkss (Blackpool) - £1.25m
• Peter Halmosi (Plymouth)- £3m
• Seyi Olifinjana (Wolves) - £2.25m
• Carlton Cole (West Ham) - £2.5m
• Rob Hulse (Sheffield Utd) - £1.5m
• Jermaine Beckford (Leeds) - £3.5m

and an experienced keeper too. I''m not neccesarily saying we could get all these but just off the top of my head really.

Id never pay 3.5 for Beckford would much rather have Carlton Cole and no Ched Evans on that list ?. As for Gorks didnt he have a 250 k release fee?  Would agree with the majority of  all the others although would we need Halmosi now we have Hoolahan, Bertrand and Pattison on the left. Other than that a decent set of players.

Oh its like a game of FM08! Bearing in mind some prices will be over inflated i would go for:

Martin Taylor- £1.5m (Now in Brums plans so will cost more)

Kaspars Gorkss - £250k (Release clause)

Paul Robinson - £350k (Millwall CB, better than what we have and would be great competition)

Steven Carr - FREE (Sign him up!)

Brian Howard - £1.7 (price at a guess, but class act! Can never have too many midfielders)

Ameobi - £3m (I dont care what people say, he would be class in this league!)

David Healy MBE - £1m (Would score for fun)

Nathan Tyson - £500k (Big guy would bring competition for places and one for the rainy nights in Watford)
