Duncan 0 Posted April 27, 2004 I run Canaries for the Community(CFTC) which is a community initiative from NCFC supported by Norwich Union. Each year we have two projects involving Norwich fans, one of which is at a non league football club. This year''s projects are:Saturday 5th June 2004 at Thetford Town FC. Work will be painting various parts of their groundSaturday 3rd July 2004 at Bowthorpe, Norwich. Gardening work for a local voluntary projectCan you help with either project? The idea of the scheme is to show that NCFC fans care about their community and the grass roots of football and for the volunteers to have a really enjoyable day. Each volunteer gets a free CFTC t-shirt and baseball cap, free lunch, free entry to a competition to win a meal for two at Delia''s Restaurant* and the chance to meet club officials. No specialist skills required but volunteers should be 16 years old or over and reasonably fit and healthy. To apply or for further details e-mail me duncan@macinnes551.fslife.co.uk. * Competition closing date 31st May 2004

Ali Bunkall 0 Posted April 27, 2004 Duncan, what a commendable cause. It is organisations and attitudes like this that make NCFC a club to be proud of. I would help, but sadly i''m a student in Bristol. Good Luck though.
